Following a BDA meeting we can announce that there are some exciting changes and times ahead for the Premier BNTS. It has been decided by the relevant coaches in conjunction with the BDA that all three premier crews will train as one unit. This decision was taken for various reasons, one of which was the feedback that was recieved from Team GB athletes during the recent consulation exercise. The belief of all involved is that this approach will improve each premier crews performance, whilst also leading to a more cohesive Premier Squad and Team GB.

We can also confirm that the existing Premier Mixed and Open coaching team will remain in post for the next 2 years, with the valued addition of Dr. Gillian Mara, Sports Science Consultant. This campaign will of course include the 2012 European Championships, which are due to be held in the UK at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham at the end of July 2012.

The Premier Womens coach will be annouced shortly.
