Premier BNTS Pre Time Trials - 25th February 2012 |

The Premier BNTS pre time trials will be held on 25th February 2012 at Thorpe Meadows, Peterborough. These pre trials will comprise of two runs in an O1 (Jaguar K1 with an outrigger attached), one of which will be over 500m and the other will be over 1000m, with a 30 minute break between. If you would like to register please contact team administrator Tracy for more details.
All BNTS training days, GB training days, and competition dates have been updated in the events section. |

Happy New Year ! After a very positive day of athlete assessment and paddling on the 14th January it is good to be able to announce that the Premier BNTS are firing on all cylinders and looking forward to the challenges that 2012 will bring. The coaches are very pleased with the progress registered paddlers have made since the 2012 campaign began and are looking forward to working with them over the coming months. There were also a number of Premier BNTS paddlers on the water on the 15th January for the 3rd race of this winters Henley Winter Series and it was good to see great results and commitment across the board, whether it was for a BDA registered club crew or a composite crew. |

Pink Piranha Dragon Boat Club has recently been set up by someone who wants to give something back to a sport which has given him and his family opportunites that they may not otherwise have had. Pink Piranha Dragon Boat Club is a place where people who have been touched by cancer and those interested in supporting cancer research can come together and share their experiences. The Premier teams are looking for drummers and helms for next years European Championships, which will be held in Nottingham, UK on the 27th, 28th and 29th July 2012. The BNTS Premier coaching team have put together guidance documents which outline the standards expected of a GB Helm and a GB drummer and can be found here and here, respectively. If you think you have the necessary skills, or will be able to achieve the required standards before team selection then please register your interest with team administrator Tracy. |
